What is the difference between MT4 and MT5?

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) are both trading platforms developed by MetaQuotes. MT5 is the newer version with additional features like more timeframes, more order types, and an economic calendar. Our products are available for both platforms - make sure to download the correct version for your platform.

Do I need programming knowledge to use your products?

No, our products are designed to be user-friendly. Simply install them on your MetaTrader platform, configure the settings according to the documentation, and they're ready to use. No coding required.

Are your products compatible with all brokers?

Our products work with any broker that supports the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 platform. However, some features may vary depending on your broker's specifications and account type.

Licensing

How does the licensing system work?

Each license allows you to use the product on one computer. When you first run the product, it activates on that machine. Your license key and API key are provided in your dashboard after purchase.

What license types are available?

We offer three license types: Lifetime (one-time payment, unlimited use), Annual (renewed yearly), and Monthly (renewed monthly). Each product page displays the available options and pricing.

Can I use my license on multiple computers?

Each license is valid for one computer. If you need to use the product on multiple machines, you'll need to purchase additional licenses. Contact us for volume discounts.

What happens if I change computers?

If you switch to a new computer, you can reset your license activation from your dashboard under "Sessions". Simply delete the old session and activate on your new machine.

What happens when my license expires?

For annual and monthly licenses, the product will stop working when the license expires. You can renew your license from your dashboard to continue using the product. Lifetime licenses never expire.

Installation & Usage

How do I install the products?

After purchase, download the product file (.ex4 for MT4 or .ex5 for MT5) from your dashboard. Copy the file to your MetaTrader's data folder (usually in MQL4/Experts or MQL5/Experts for EAs). Restart MetaTrader and the product will appear in your Navigator panel. See our Documentation for detailed instructions.

Where do I find my license key and API key?

Your license key and API key are available in your dashboard under the "Licenses" section. The API key is required for product activation and is the same for all your products.

The product is not showing in MetaTrader. What should I do?

Make sure you've placed the file in the correct folder (MQL4 or MQL5 depending on your platform). Restart MetaTrader completely. If it still doesn't appear, try refreshing the Navigator panel by right-clicking and selecting "Refresh".

Do I get free updates?

Yes, all updates are free during your license period. For lifetime licenses, updates are free forever. You'll receive notification when updates are available.

What information should I include in support requests?

Please include your license key, the product name, your MT4/MT5 version, broker name, and a detailed description of the issue. Screenshots or journal logs are very helpful for troubleshooting.

In some cases, we may offer remote assistance for complex issues. This will be arranged on a case-by-case basis through our support channels.
